I am writing to certify that 50% Sulfuric Acid (AFCO 0221), distributed by AFCO, 550 Development Avenue, Chambersburg, PA 17201, complies with the Federal Food, Drug & Cosmetic Act and any other applicable regulations.

AFCO 0221 is intended for use in cleaning food contact equipment. Equipment washed with solutions containing AFCO 0221 shall be subjected to a thorough rinse with potable water before processing is resumed.

AFCO 0221 can also be used to control pH in cleaning systems and in sewer effluent.

When used according to instructions, AFCO 0221, will have no adverse effects on the food being processed.
