AFCO 0235 meets the Food Chemicals Codex (FCC) requirements for food grade citric acid.

AFCO 0235 can also be used as a general cleaning compound for food processing equipment. Equipment washed in solutions containing AFCO 0235 shall be subjected to a thorough rinse of potable water before processing is resumed.

When used according to instructions, AFCO 0235 will have no adverse effects on the foods being processed.
