AR-100 LF, ACI-REP LF (AFCO 5490) is an acidic product which is designed to replace conventional acid cleaners which contain phosphoric, sulfamic, citric, hydroxyacetic, or nitric acid. AFCO 5490 can be used for C.I.P., or soak cleaning of food processing equipment. It is effective in removing milkstone, beerstone, hardness scale, rust stains, and a wide variety of soils normally cleaned with acids, will even remove the discoloration which sometimes occurs on stainless steel from chlorinated alkaline cleaners. Because it contains defoamers and surfactants, it leaves surfaces streak free and residue free after rinsing. It is non-fuming, noncorrosive to skin, and contains no bleaching agents or phosphorus compounds.
