Prism Smart Color TM

Prism Smart Color TM (AFCO 5580) is an intelligent color indicator based on patented persulfate technologies and designed to be used in conjunction with Prism Cleaner Cl (AFCO 5575). This combination dissolves oxidizable food soils, including proteins, fats, saccharides, aromas, phenolic compounds, and oxalates, by means of oxidation by hydroxyl radicals and visibly identifies areas contaminated with these deposits by means of a color indication system.

Prism Cleaner CL

Prism Cleaner Cl (AFCO 5575) is a chlorinated alkaline gel cleaner. Because of its unique formulation, it is a clear, low-viscosity liquid in its concentrated (undiluted) form, but when mixed with water at the recommended use concentration, it becomes a viscous gel solution. This gel solution forms a thin film of cleaner on the surface of the equipment, resulting in prolonged contact time on the soiled surface. AFCO 5575 is formulated to work in conjunction with Prism Smart Color TM (AFCO 5580) to both clean and visibly identify areas contaminated with oxidizable organic soils including fats and greasy soils, protein, blood, saccharides, aromatics, phenolic compounds and oxalates by means of oxidation by hydroxyl radicals, active alkalinity and active chlorine. AFCO 5575 is for use on processing equipment in the meat, poultry, dairy, seafood, beverage and general food processing facilities, and can be used for any cleaning job which is usually done with a conventional chlorinated alkaline foam cleaner. AFCO 5575 may be used with Prism Smart Color TM (AFCO 5580) to visibly identify areas contaminated with oxidizable food soils and as a validation of cleanliness or without it as a general gel cleaner.

Desana IC

Desana IC (AFCO 5542) is a unique cleaner and color indicating verifier, non-foaming, chlorinated, alkaline, liquid detergent designed for cleaning and verifying all types of internal surfaces, in brewing and beverage and processed food plants. AFCO 5542 does not contain any surfactants so it is easy to rinse. It is suitable for use as a cleaner and/or verifier in any system cleaned with a traditional C.I.P. cleaner.
Because of its unique formulation, its cleaning solutions turn color in the presence of organics, from purple to blue-green or yellow indicating soil or organics are present, solution remains purple when the system is clean and free of organics. Purple means clean!

AF 7350

AF 7350 (AFCO 8841) is part of a series of coagulants that are liquid, cationic polymers of differing molecular weights. They work effectively as primary coagulants and charge neutralization agents in solid-liquid separation processes in a wide variety of industries. AFCO 8841’s chemistry range available ensures there is a product suitable for each individual application.

AFCO 9314 is acceptable for treating boilers, steam lines, and/or cooling systems where neither the treated water nor the steam produced may contact edible products. This does not include compounds added to water used to cook and cool containers of meat and poultry products.

 

AFCO 9314 is approved for use in USDA inspected plants.

 

When used according to instructions, AFCO 9314 will have no adverse effects on the food being processed.

AFCO 5356

AFCO 5256 is a heavy-duty caustic CIP cleaner designed specifically for the removal of soils found in dairies, cheese plants, and other food processing plants. It is a highly alkaline product with unique cleaning agents for use in C.I.P. systems. AFCO 5356 contains a blend of water conditioning agents which prevent scale formation. It is also free rinsing which eliminates water spotting and film formation on equipment surfaces.
