In response to FSMA, FDA and FSIS guidelines please retain this document as our Continuing Letter of Guarantee for the product listed below, in compliance with the USDA-FSIS Sanitation Performance Standards Compliance Guide.
 
We have supplied many satisfied food processors throughout the world with products that are formulated to meet the cleaning, sanitation, and maintenance needs of food processing establishments.
 
This Zep product is formulated to comply with FDA Title 21 CFR 110.35 and 117.35, Sanitary Operations. Our products are properly labeled to ensure effectiveness, employee safety, and to prohibit adulteration of food product when used for the labeled purposes.   

Zep Selig Quantum 2000 (K1) is classified as a cleaning and/or degreasing solvent for use in non-processing areas. Following the use of these compounds, equipment and utensils must be thoroughly washed and rinsed with potable water before being returned to a processing area. The product label guides the specific requirements.

Zep Selig Quantum 2000 (K2) is acceptable for use as a solvent for cleaning electronic instruments. These compounds are chemically acceptable for cleaning electronic instruments and devices which will not tolerate aqueous cleaning solutions. Before using these compounds, food products and packaging materials must be removed from the area or carefully protected. These compounds must be used in a manner so that all odors associated with the compound are dissipated before food products or packaging materials are re-exposed in the area.
