AFCO Defoamer is an inert, water soluble silicone based antifoaming agent formulated for long lasting foam control in food and chemical processes. Defoamer is manufactured in compliance with the regulations of the Food and Drug Administration as cited in 21 CFR 173.340, defoaming agents used in processing foods. Recommended quantities should be based upon the limitations as prescribed by the FDA.
