Foam It (AFCO 5269) is a concentrated blend of high foaming wetting agents designed to boost the foaming and cleaning properties of alkaline, acidic and neutral cleaning solutions. AFCO 5269 may also be added to wastewater streams as a “quat blocker” for the purpose of binding to and inhibiting the antimicrobial properties of active quaternary ammonium compounds to minimize the quat’s toxicity and negative effect on microbial treatment facilities.
