Letter of Guarantee for Chemical Compounds

To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing to certify that Perasafe FC-100 (AFCO 4360), manufactured by AFCO, 550 Development Avenue, Chambersburg, PA 17201, complies with the Federal Food, Drug & Cosmetic Act and any other applicable regulations.

AFCO 4360 is an FDA approved antimicrobial agent (see FCN Nº 1389, 1650, 2099 & 2224) for use in:

Ø  Processing water for poultry carcasses, parts, trim, and organs,

Ø  Processing water or ice for meat carcasses, parts, trim, and organs,

Ø  Processing water, ice, or brine for processed and pre-formed (ready-to-eat) meat and poultry,

Ø  Processing water or ice for seafood and fish,

Ø  Processing water for fruits and vegetables,

Ø  Processing water for hard-boiled peeled eggs in food processing facilities.

AFCO 4360 may also be used for static or continuous washing, rinsing or flushing of food contact surfaces including but not limited to conveyors, peelers, slicers, saws, knives and other food processing equipment to remove gross contamination during production.

When used according to instructions, AFCO 4360 will have no adverse effects on the food being processed.

AFCO 4360 is free from undesirable microorganisms and is safe under the conditions of use.
