I am writing to certify that Lubricon HD HW (AFCO 5539), manufactured by AFCO, 550 Development Avenue, Chambersburg, PA 17201, complies with the Federal Food, Drug & Cosmetic Act and any other applicable regulations.

AFCO 5539 is intended for use as a lubricating and anti-rust film for hooks and trolleys used in the meat and poultry processing industries. If used as an anti-rust film, the compound must be removed from the equipment surface by washing or wiping, as required, to leave the surface effectively free of any substance which could be transferred to food being processed.

When used according to instructions, AFCO 5539 will have no adverse effects on the food being processed.

AFCO 5539 is free from undesirable microorganisms and is safe under the conditions of use.
