I am writing to certify that AFCO 9001, manufactured by AFCO, 550 Development Avenue, Chambersburg, PA 17201, complies with the Federal Food, Drug & Cosmetic Act and any other applicable regulations.

AFCO 9001 is acceptable for treating boilers, steam lines, and/or cooling systems where neither the treated water nor the steam produced may contact edible products. This does not include compounds added to water used to cook and cool containers of meat and poultry products (USDA G-7 rating) compound.

When used according to instructions, AFCO 9001 will have no adverse effects on the food being processed.
